Now that's what I'm talkin' about....something neat and cheap...(Well, at least less expensive than the usual elitist design schtuff making the rounds of the blogs....)

Reminds me of Papanek's stuff... Been a while since I read Design for the Real World, but cardboard was one material being used to create light furniture by groovy, forward-thinking, idealistic designers such as Papnek...
